2008 Pulling Schedule

March 29	Shuk n Pull Hanover VA	12:00 pm	From Ashland: Take Route 54 East. After you have crossed the bridge over I-95 stay on Route 54 East for 6 miles until you reach the intersection of Route 54 and Route 301. Turn left onto Route 301 North (Courthouse Road). Turn right onto Normans Bridge Road. Stay on Normans Bridge Road for 2 miles. Turn left onto Hanover Quarter Road. From I-95: Take exit 92B toward Hanover. Follow Route 54 East for 6 miles until you reach the intersection of Route 54 and Route 301. Turn left onto Route 301 North (Courthouse Road). Turn right onto Normans Bridge Road. Stay on Normans Bridge Road for 2 miles. Turn left onto Hanover Quarter Road. From I-295: Follow I-295 to exit 41A (Route 301 North/Route 2 North toward Hanover). Stay on Route 301 North/2 North for 10.3 miles. Turn right onto onto Normans Bridge Road. Stay on Normans Bridge Road for 2 miles. Turn left onto Hanover Quarter Road.
May 24	Effinger Fire Dept. VA	2:00 pm	From I-81: Take exit 188 B (Rt 60 West) Go approx. 1.8 miles and Turn Left onto Rt 11 South (Turn is just past the underpass) Continue South to stop light. Go straight through light. Rt 11 South becomes Rt 251. After stoplight go approx 5.4 miles Turn Right (still Rt 251) Go approx 1.6 miles Effinger Fire Dept is on Right. Track is located behind Fire Dept.
June 7	Powhatan VA Pig Roast	2:00 pm	From I-64: Take US 522 Exit 159 toward Gum Springs/Goochland. Follow 522 for 7 miles. Turn Left onto 522/VA-6 for 1.7 miles. Turn Right on to US 522 for 9.1 miles. Turn Left onto US 60 East for 1 mile. Turn Right at VDOT garage onto Mann Rd for less than 0.1 mile. Turn Left onto VA-13/Old Buckingham Rd for 0.6 mile. Turn Right onto Marion Harland Lane. Track is located at end of gravel road behind Rescue Squad building.
June 14	Weyers Cave VA	4:00 pm	From I-81: Take exit 235 to Weyers Cave/Grottoes. Go east on VA 256. Go straight through next light and approximately 1/8th mile. Take a left into the Weyers Cave Community Center.
July 26	McGaheysville, Va	3:00 pm	From Richmond: I-64W to Lyndhurst exit (1st exit after crossing Afton Mt.) Take a Right at the bottom of exit ramp. When you get to stop light you are on Rt 340. Stay on 340 for approximately 28 miles. Take a Left on Island Ford Rd. (if you pass Coors you've gone too far!) At the stop light you will see the Fire Dept. directly in front of you. Go straight through the light then follow the road to the right. From North VA and MD: Take I-81 South to Rt. 33 East. Go approximately 8 miles to McGaheysville Fire Dept. It will be on the left about half way between Harrisonburg and Elkton.
August 2	Fredericksburg, VA Agricultural Fair	4:00 pm	From I-95: Merge onto VA-3 E via EXIT 130 A if going south and B if going North on I-95 toward Fredericksburg for appr 2.9 miles. Merge onto Dixon Street S/US-17 BR S/VA-2 S toward Tappahannock/Bowling Green appr 1.1 mile. Turn right onto Oldfield St. appr 0.0 miles. End at 2400 Airport Ave.
August 8	Warren County Fair	5:00 pm	From I-81: Take exit 300 onto I-66. Traveling East on I-66, take Exit 6 to Front Royal. You will exit onto Route 522 North toward Winchester. You will travel about 3 -4 miles on 522 N. to Fairgrounds Road and turn right onto Fairgrounds Road, then make an immediate right into the Fairgrounds.
August 9	Augusta County Fair	6:00 pm	From I-64: Take exit 91 (Fishersville) Go toward McDonald's/Sheetz. Take first Right past McDonalds onto Expo Road. Go 1.2 miles to Augusta Expoland.
September 19	Isle of Wight Co Fair	5:00 pm	From the North: I-95 South to the Petersburg area. Take Rt 460 East to Windsor. Turn Left at first stoplight onto Rt 258 North. Fairgrounds located 2 miles on Right.
September 26,27 and 28	State Fair of Virginia	Friday 5pm Sat and Sun 2pm	From the North -travel I-95 S to Exit 82 Chamberlayne Ave (301). Follow Chamberlayne Ave (301) and turn Lt at the 3rd traffic light onto Azalea Ave. Follow signs for about 2.5 miles. From the South -travel I-95 N to Exit 82 Chamberlayne Ave (301). Follow Chamberlayne Ave (301) and turn left at the 3rd traffic light onto Azalea Ave. Follow signs for about 2.5 miles. From the West -Travel I-64 E to Exit 186. Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp onto Laburnum Ave. Follow Laburnum Ave about 2 miles to Richmond International Raceway. From the East -Travel I-64 W to Exit 195. Turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto Laburnum Ave. Follow Laburnum Ave about 5 miles to Richmond International Raceway.
